Gesha coffee is known to have some of the highest cup scores in the world. This washed Gesha from Finca Sinai in Oaxaca, Mexico won 6th place in the 2023 Mexico Cup of Excellence, with a score of 89.91.
COE #6 winning lot from Farm Sinai. Doña Antonia Ramírez, mother of Mr. Diego Woolrich, initially owned and managed Farm Sinai. She passed the reins to Mr. Diego in 1972, who learned all aspects of farm management from her. Today, the farm benefits from the expertise of 10 women who excel in tasks like nursery care and selective harvesting, contributing to the success of the operation.
Jiyoon was an international juror for 2023 Mexico's Cup of Excellence and immediately fell in love with this coffee and distinctly remember it from the Top 10 round. Read about our Mexico CoE trip here.
We have very limited supplies of this coffee. Each purchased bag will come with its unique number on it. The coffee was harvested in February 2023 and arrived at Bean & Bean’s roastery in September 2023.
