Located in the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro, Kilimanjaro Plantation is made up of four individual farms; Two Bridges, Lyamungo, Mlama, and Kahawa. 95% of the farm’s production is washed, though Kilimanjaro Plantation is actively experimenting with more honey and natural processing. Drying is done on raised beds, where Kilimanjaro Plantation’s employees carefully monitor the moisture level of each lot to ensure even drying.
We climbed to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro with our very own coffee in January 2022. Then cupped new crop with the coffee team at Kilimanjaro Plantation, led by Q Grader Flora.
