Tasting notes: Roasted nuts, cedar, sweet herbs
Bean & Bean Downtown Blend is a seasonal blend of coffees from Africa, Asia, and South America. Medium-roasted, this signature seasonal house blend has a smooth and creamy note with hints of cocoa, cedar, and lemongrass. The Mother and Daughter Coffee Team sources and cups coffees sensitive to the seasons in order to recreate the original notes.
(4oz.) Peru Las Damas
Tasting notes: Tangerine, caramel, dark chocolate
Ripe fruit up front, velvety caramel underneath, and balanced enough to drink black. The Las Damas lot comes from the Cooperativa Agraria Frontera San Ignacio (COOPAFSI), and it is farmed, processed, and operated exclusively by women of the cooperative.

Tasting notes: Lemon, black tea, red fruit
From the birthplace of coffee comes this delightful offering from Sidamo, Ethiopia. Grown at low densities under the shade of indigenous trees, it carries the elegant, delicate character Ethiopia is known for. Expect a silky body with tasting notes of lemon, black tea, and red fruit, plus a fragrant touch of jasmine and a refreshing finish with lemon and honey.
(4oz.) Indonesia Sumatra
Tasting notes: Earthy, dark cocoa, tangy finish
Full-bodied and rich, from the Sumatran rainforest. The Koperasi Pedagang Kopi Ketiara is a women-run cooperative with over 890 grower-members, started in 2008 by Ibu Rahmah, its current chairwoman. The members voted to become Organic and Fair Trade certified in 2012, and they use those proceeds for health, education, and public infrastructure programs that benefit every member.
