Fancy Diner Coffee

For the past few years we have enjoyed waking up and having Fancy Diner coffee. Recently this coffee has another excellent companion Downtown Blend. Wha-hoo

We prepare this in our Xbloom and it comes out perfect. Full bodied but not bitter. It is our daily driver and the best we had so far with our Xbloom.

Wow this coffee does not disappoint. It has a delicious bold flavor that holds it’s own when you add milk. I would definitely purchase this one again. Honduras manos de mujer was my favorite go to but since it’s no longer in stock this is a great replacement. It pairs well with any kind of milk in my opinion.

I am on my third bag of the coffee, the last two 2lb. This has been my fav since I first got it after the Kilimanjaro Peaberry became unavailable. I don’t know what happened at the last roasting of my last bag that I received last week, but it tastes burnt. It’s not as bad as the burnt taste of Starbucks coffee but it’s hard to drink, knowing how good the previous two bags were. I don’t know if this is going to be an ongoing thing either. So now I’m stuck with all this coffee that doesn’t even taste like it should.
