Minas Gerais Competition Bundle
Two washed coffees from the 2025 COCARIVE Specialty Coffee Competition in Minas Gerais, Brazil. Both bags come whole bean.
COCARIVE is a coffee cooperative based in Carmo de Minas, in Brazil's Minas Gerais state, and every farm that sells through it is certified by the Brazilian Specialty Coffee Association. At the 2025 COCARIVE Specialty Coffee Competition, those farms put their best lots on the cupping table to be scored. This bundle pairs two standout lots from that competition.
Minas Gerais Yellow Catucai Washed (10.9oz)
We taste: Yuzu, chamomile, cashew, juicy
Brothers Lívio César, Marcelo, and Flávio Carvalho Ferraz run Fazenda Boa Vista in Dom Viçoso, on the Serra da Mantiqueira. Coffee has been grown on the farm since the 1880s, and it has been in their family for generations. This lot scored 92.3 at the 2025 COCARIVE competition.
Sítio da Torre Red Obatã Washed (10.9oz)
We taste: Lemon drop, chamomile, honey
The Coli Siblings grow this Red Obatã at Sítio da Torre in Carmo de Minas, at 1,150 meters. It scored 88.64 at the same competition, and we bought it straight off the competition table. Next to the Yellow Catucai's yuzu and cashew, it tastes softer and sweeter, with more honey.
