Jamie brewed Janson 1010 at U.S. Brewers Cup Nationals! Our barista, Jamie, competed in her first-ever national coffee competition and we couldn't be more proud! Thank you to everyone in the community who cheered her on along the way.
The Brewers Cup is one of the most celebrated competitions in specialty coffee, focused entirely on the craft and intention behind hand brewing. She wowed the judges with her cup and we're so proud to watch her grow as a brewer and a barista!
This Gesha comes from the family-owned Janson Farm, established in 1941, nestled between the Tisingal and Barú volcanoes. Janson focuses on quality and harmony — balancing soil nutrients with enzyme microorganisms, using no pesticides or herbicides, and separating plantations with natural forest barriers that protect local flora and fauna. The farm runs entirely on energy from 400 solar panels.
