Gesha coffee is known to have some of the highest cup scores in the world. This white honey processed Gesha from Madigal in Costa Rica won 3rd place in the 2022 Costa Rica Cup of Excellence, with a score of 90.85.

COE #3 winning lot from Farm Don Cayito. The 6-hectare farm, located at 1950 meters above sea level, has a February harvest season. They fertilize four times a year after soil analysis for batch-specific needs. This lot is a Geisha variety process white honey -- pre-dried in the beds for 2-3 days, then passed on to patios until the coffee is thoroughly dried. Extremely fragrant, balanced, structured, harmonious, and juicy -- all at the same time.

Rachel and Jiyoon, the Mother Daughter Coffee Team, were both international jurors for 2023 Costa Rica's Cup of Excellence and immediately fell in love with this coffee. 

There is only 1 box of this coffee!. Each purchased bag will come with its unique number on it. The coffee was harvested in February 2023 and arrived at Bean & Bean’s roastery in September 2023.
